lyrics

This time the newspaper denied a hero's tale replaced with in favor of a loving memory. This child cries under the pale gunfire skies. the story of his legacy replace by a celebrity. And we mourn at the loss. These lives are so fleeting while we worship with no meaning. And we cringe at the thought That I could rest easy to the silence of a hand grenade. There's no solace, I cannot bleed for this I was not made for it. If they saw what those eyes had seen. They would be pleading for the live they can no longer lead. And a drop becomes a wave over the lines of a horizon I forgot was even there. And it comes and goes repeating until it proves that im just that temporary. This is where we bought and we sold out selling our limbs to the highest bidding patron for rare renaissance paintings. They are flailing yet the dust collects the rot sets in till it consumes our lives. Here lies the grave of "insert name here" I lay and silently pray in hopes that this will drown it out. The dust collects, the rot sets in.
